Working Student: QA (Quality Assurance)/Tester for Mobile Health Application (m/f/d)

We are VisionHealth, a Munich based digital healthcare company that designs and implements innovative digital health solutions at the highest level. We improve the quality of life and therapy standards in respiratory
healthcare for patients and caregivers in an interconnected world.

As the QA working student you are supporting our Development & Product team to safeguard the quality and market fit of our Kata® App. Kata is an AI driven mobile health application for chronic respiratory patients that
aims to improve the user’s therapy outcome. Your work position is located within the QA team for testing and bug identification and also supports the Product Management team to safeguard that the app serves it’s intended purpose.
You test requirements on different smartphones (iOS and Android). These requirements are broken down from user stories. You focus on quality and also the use case defined in the user stories. Your committed, binding and reliable way of working allows you to work independently. Your test results are documented in the same manner. Depending on your skills, interests and performance we can shape and extend your area(s) of work together, e.g. towards test automation, product management etc.

Your mission

• Supporting an agile team in mobile app testing in collaboration with QA and Product team
• Perform manual testing of mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms
• Manage product requirements, providing feedback on the completeness, testability, and other risk areas to the product management team
• Manage test cases (Testrail): Design comprehensive test scenarios, create test plans and executing test cases
• Review, analyse and report test results
• Manage issues to closure in an issue tracking system (JIRA)
• Supporting us in: Develop, improve, and maintain the internal testing process

Your profile

• Studying in the field of IT, technical sciences, engineering or UX
• Passion for mobile products and willing to think beyond the usual cases
• Analytical mindset with a structured and responsible way of working
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice-to-have

• Experience with testing frameworks and test automation
• Experience with medical software
• Coding experience
• Good verbal and written German skills
